NICE – Advocacy Guideline Development

Nice LogoRecruitment for guideline committee members closes on Monday 22nd! and Call for Evidence close Monday 29th March. 

As many of you know, NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) are developing a guideline on advocacy services for adults with health and social care needs.

They are still recruiting people to sit on the guideline development committee and are particular seeking individuals with an interest in and understanding of advocacy, in the following roles:

An independent mental health advocate (x1)
A commissioner of advocacy services
A learning disability practitioner
An older person’s physician or an inpatient care physician
Part of the Patient Advice and Liaison Service
A care home representative (registered manager or senior practitioner)
A home care representative
